Welcome to December!!!

Today is World Aids Day. Enjoy.

In other news, remember that really bad movie from 1997, "Face Off," starring John Travolta and Nicolas Cage? You know the one where they switch faces and all hell breaks loose? Well, we're one step closer to making that little gem a reality.

And now it turns out that the TSA is easing restrictions on sharp objects aboard planes. Great, so now we've got some out of work bloke, recently laid off from RIM, the makers of the CrackBerry, I mean BlackBerry for shipping heroin in the company office supplies, taking his new face and his new blade on MY plane and playing at holding the entire plane hostage while carving his initials in the pilot's ass.

Then he takes his ransom money and invests in the soon-to-be-released single-letter domains, where he freely advertises his dislike for the United States by posting scathing Bush parodies like this and this, all the while waging his personal war on the Encyclopedia Brittanica Kid and the Puberty Pals. Hmmm, maybe it's not all that bad after all.

Well, I finished booking my hotels for my New Year's Vacation, and man does it feel good. There's really not much left to do aside from get my bus to and from Edinburgh, and maybe solidify some of the site-seeing plans. It's nice to be prepared. And check this out: I'm starting to plan weekend trips to Prague and Venice for next year. My company will pay for them rather than paying for a flight back to the States, which would be impractical anyway with my workload. So I'm going to take serious advantage of it. Any suggestions?

My Narnia books and the new Harry Potter book arrived at my flat yesterday, but were too big to fit through the slot in the door (go figure), so I guess I'll have to drop by the post office to pick it up. No rush though as I'm still reading through "Knife of Dreams" by Robert Jordan.

Time to get back to work before anyone notices (heh heh), especially considering I'm nicking off to go running for my lunch hour.
