"Wedding Crashers" was a good movie. I'd seen it before, but it was just what the doctor ordered on the trip back to the States (NOT the one where I passed out). Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson, and Christopher Walken, among others (including an uncredited Will Ferrell), deliver a very good performance. Watch this one.
Okay, I'll keep it short. John and Jeremy (Wilson and Vaughn) have taken over the torch from Chazz Reinhold (Ferrell) and are "professional" wedding crashers. Each year they hit the wedding circuit picking up babes. Each year they get better and better, until John meets the Senator's (Walken) daughter. Now he's breaking all their rules just to get close to her.
Bottom line: a funny movie. Sure the humor is a bit childish at times, and painful at others, but that's what makes it good. It simply doesn't strive to become anything more than a good, funny, story. I'd recommend it to anyone with some time to spare. Or anyone looking for some pointers for their next wedding. Or funeral.
