Monday night was Halloween. Now, I wasn't in the mood to deal with kids that night. It's not my fault you parents can't afford candy so you send your kids to my house. But they did look good. Most of them. There were these 2 kids, teens really, that were too old to be out there, and not even dressed in costumes. But when asked who they were, there reply of "Candy Thugs" was enough to get some of our candy. Too funny. It was also good that night to see all of my friends come by to visit and enjoy some food and drink.
Tuesday I spent the day relaxing and packing and, to be honest, a little depressed. Sometimes I guess I just don't realize how great my friends, my town, and my dog are, and how much I miss them. Tuesday helped me to remember that. I got to the airport early, and luckily so, because they had trouble finding my reservation. After that was squared away I grabbed some sushi and waited for the plane. The plane ride was uneventful. Uneventful, but uncomfortable. I wasn't in my usual aisle seat, and in front of me were 2 kids with their parents, and behind me were 2 kids with their parents, one of which would kick my seat occasionally, the other of which would piss and moan because she was sick. I was glad to get off that flight.
Arriving into London Wednesday morning, it was time to wait in a long customs line, hoping to make my bus back to Cheltenham. So I run through the tunnels to the bus station and just make my bus, where I enjoy a little napping on the way home. Luckily, my meeting was cancelled so I just rested up on the couch and played with Photoshop. Man that is some cool software once you learn a few basics. I can't wait to learn the more advanced techniques. It's amazing what it can do to your digital photographs. Unfortunately, once you learn what it can do you end up sucked in to this digital manipulation world where time has no meaning. And just when you think you're out, someone (I won't name names) gives you some more ideas. Thanks.
A typical Boston street...

On the right I adjusted the contrast and color levels, and added a new sky. How cool is that?
So hear I am sitting, having some lunch, on Thursday afternoon. I have a play tonight that I hope I'm not too jet-lagged to enjoy. My body feels like it's recovering from the marathon. I'll test it tomorrow with a nice run. My work isn't backed up too much. And the only thing that is backed up is the 6 or so movies I need to review. I'll get those out this weekend. Or, apparently today. Have a great day all.
