Okay, I took the plunge. I bought a camcorder. I've wanted one for many years and finally decided to grab one up. Besides, I'm supposed to film and photograph my cousin's wedding this coming summer so I may as well get some practice in. I picked up the Panasonic GS250 after reviewing a few and noticing that "Men's Journal" gave the GS150 (last year's model) top pick. And you know magazines never lie, right? Just like your mother, they are. Okay, maybe that's not entirely true. My mother used to tell me I could be anything I wanted to be and, since I can't be Angelina Jolie's thong, she must have been lying.
Anyway, I should have it when I get home for the Marine Corps Marathon. That will rock. I've also ordered a few other things (books, hats, movies, etc.), so it will be like my Birthday! Minus the strippers though. I spent a pretty penny on this thing, plus it's accessories, so feel free to give me that happy feeling (like when you were climbing the rope in gym class) by leaving me a "that was a great purchase" note. Soon I'll be available for weddings and bar mitzvahs. Look out, porn industry, here I come!
