Everyone Else Has Had More Sex Than Me


The bunny pictured is so cute and lovable. Click on him and find out why he's so upset. And why is Natalie so Angry? I don't know, but lately it's true: Everyone else HAS had more sex than me.

But I'm not worried. You know why? Because I just finished booking 16 days in Ireland. That's right. You can count 'em: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, baby! Dropped a small fortune doing it, too, but the good news it that I think my company is paying for the airfare from London, 2 days in Dublin, and my rental car. After that, it's all me, but I'm okay with that.

Where am I going? Everywhere. Literally. Well, almost. I'm starting in Dublin and basically circling the entire island, ending up right back in Dublin the day before I'm scheduled to fly back to the U.S. Should be a good, no, a great time.

And, yes, you heard that right, too. After Ireland I get to come home. For good. And that's a good thing. So, when does it all happen? Well, I leave for Ireland in a little over 2 weeks. It's definitely helped my motivation a bit by biting the bullet and booking the entire trip in one fell swoop (that's how I spent most of my day yesterday).

As for today, I've been watching movies, and I have only one real question: What the F*ck is up with "Revolver?" I consider myself a smart guy, and pretty well able to follow along in the movies these days. But this one WAS WARPED. Still good, though. But not as good as "Four Brothers." What a great movie. I'd recommend that one.

What have I been doing with the rest of my week? Working 60+ hours, that's what. Doing what, I can't say. No, really, I can't say, b/c I don't even know what I was doing. Mostly just waiting around for assistance from Austin that I wasn't getting. Nothing is much more upsetting than feeling like you've been left high and dry. I'm glad it's over. I hope.

Yes, I AM getting into a bit of a rut (or a habit to you optimists out there). You know: wake up in the morning, go for a run, then work all day. Come home at night and try to relax. And finally on weekends: go for a longer run on Saturday, have sushi for lunch, and run errands and watch movies for the rest of the weekend.

Speaking of which, how the hell did I accumulate so much gear in the nearly 8 months I've been here? I've already sent one carry-on size roller bag home with Katie and Eric, packed up one box for shipping, and today finished filling a HUGE piece of luggage with gear for Aaron and Jenn to take home with them (can't wait to see them for St. Pat's in a few!). And the sad thing is: I still have more gear. I'm thinking I still have my gear for Ireland and maybe 2 more boxes of gear to pack. Luckily my company will pay for shipping. Still need to figure out what to do with the printer, phone(s), and DVD player that I bought over here. Some I will try to give back to the company (since they paid for them); others I'm hoping to give to Derek and Kelly.

Okay, I'm thinking it's time for some grub. On a final note, my CEO came to visit this week (with the CFO), and he's really responsive to me taking off 4 months when I get back. So, in another week or two I should know whether or not my company is granting my a 4-month sabbatical to tour the country. Can't wait to find out...
