"The 40 Year Old Virgin"

"The 40 Year Old Virgin," while a bit long, was pretty f*cking (nice pun) good movie. Steve Carell did a wonderful job in his first headlining role, and I saw alot of my various friends in his friends. Not a bad movie.

When Andy Stitzer's "friends" at the electronics store find out he's still a virgin at 40 they take it upon themselves, each in their own way, to teach him the ways of the sexual jedi, and get him laid. What follows is a series of (very) unfortunated incidents and flashbacks. It isn't until he meets (hot) grandma, Trish, that he comes to realize that maybe, just maybe, getting some tail isn't the answer. It's time to take the toys off the shelf, the p*ssy off the pedestal, and get back on that bike and ride.

I liked this movie. It was perverted and funny, but not TOO perverted. And, somewhere in all of that, was a pretty good lesson. Oh, and Catherine Keener, at 46, is HOT.
